Telehealth Therapy

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to receive the best mental health care available. That's why we provide counseling services online so individuals can access help from the comfort of their own home.

Our experts use a variety of approaches to help individuals reach their goals and improve their mental health. We use HIPAA compliant secure video conferencing to make the hard work of therapy convenient while remaining confidential.

During our 30-minute free consultation, we will determine together if meeting online is a good fit.

EMDR

Our Approach

We specialize in various treatment modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), ASSYST-Remote, and Mindfulness. Together we create an individualized treatment plan to identify what changes and goals you want to work on.

EMDR: EMDR, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a type of therapy that some people find helpful when they have experienced something upsetting or traumatic. During EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy, you will be asked to think about the upsetting memory while also following a moving object with your eyes, such as the therapist's finger moving back and forth. This is called bilateral stimulation, and it can help your brain process the memory in a different way and reduce its negative impact on you.

The therapist will guide you through the process and help you feel comfortable and safe. It is important to remember that you are in control during the session and can take breaks or stop the therapy if you need to.

IFS: Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of therapy that views the mind as made up of different "parts" or sub-personalities that interact with each other.

In IFS therapy, you will work with a therapist to identify and understand these different parts of yourself and how they contribute to your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The goal of the therapy is to help you develop a better relationship with these parts and to promote healing and growth.

You might learn techniques for communicating with and understanding your different parts, such as visualization or journaling. Your therapist might also help you identify and work with any parts that might be causing you distress or holding you back.

TF-CBT: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a type of therapy that can help children who have experienced a traumatic event, such as abuse, a natural disaster, or the death of a loved one.

In TF-CBT, you will work with a therapist to learn new skills and ways of thinking about what happened to you. The therapy will help you understand that the trauma was not your fault and that you are not alone in what you experienced.

The therapy will involve talking about your feelings and experiences, and your therapist will help you learn ways to cope with your emotions. You might also learn relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or visualization, to help you feel more calm and in control.
